| 1. Each team
shall receive 50 "appearance points" for each qualifying tournament entered.
2. Each team
shall receive "performance points" based upon the weight of their catch
(including any deductions for dead fish, etc.) relative to the weight of the
tournament winning catch. For example, the winning team in each tournament
will receive 100 performance points; a team with a catch that weighs one-half
the amount of the tournament winning catch will receive 50 performance points,
and a team that does not weigh-in a fish will receive no performance points.
3. Each team
shall receive "catch points" for each bass weighed in as follows:
1 bass = 1 point
2 bass = 2 points
3 bass = 3 points
4 bass = 4 points
5 bass = 10 points
4. Appearance
points, performance points and catch points shall count equally toward
qualifying for the JBA Classic.

At the conclusion of the qualifying tournaments, the captains of
the ten teams with the most accumulated points shall be invited to participate
in the JBA Classic. Only the captain of each qualifying team and an angler with
whom the captain has fished at least one qualifying tournament that season shall
be eligible to compete in the JBA Classic.
6.
The JBA Classic will be a two-day event held on different waters
each day. At the conclusion of the first day, the five lowest ranking teams
shall be eliminated. The top 5 ranking teams shall continue to the second day of
competition. Weight totals from the first day of competition shall not be
carried forward to the second day.
7. The payout
for the JBA Classic shall be determined by the Tournament Director.
8. The location of the
JBA Classic shall be determined by a random drawing to be held the day before
the tournament.
